Honestly, what's the hype with Asians and Ping Pong? I've been annihilating over here. I've played with some Chinese, Japanese, and Koreans and they can't defeat my power. Jake where you at?
We've been grinding basketball here. I airballed hard right in front of Sister Larsen (the Blackfoot one). Of all the people to do that in front of smh. I lost sleep from that. Tragic.
The language classes are getting hardddd. Random fun fact for you, it takes 17 syllables to say "I know God lives." Don't bother trying to Google translate that, Google translate can't speak Korean either, trust me. This week we played a game called "Kimshi." Basically the students choose one person to be "Kimshi" and that person isn't allowed to speak english at all. If the teachers figure out who they are they win. To make it harder for the teachers to find out who they are, all of us have to speak Korean as much as possible. In other words, I really miss English. I've been making rinky dink sentences in Korean 6 hours a day every day this week. It's what we need to get good though, so I'm for it.
The weather has been immaculate here. A little bit of sunshine is all I needed, I might be Superman, or just very vitamin D deficient. It's the little things in life you know. Speaking of which, the Cambodian district in my dorm left this week, and I copped a nerf basketball hoop in trade for a tie. Absolutely banger trade. I had some Scottish Elder come yell at me to stop dunking last night, bro couldn't handle the grind.
We had an absolutely crazy General Authority devotional on Tuesday. Elder Jorg Klebingat, German obviously, spent an hour talking about the premortal life, which has never been done in my experience. He did all that to explain what the "gathering of Israel" meant, and he wasn't afraid to talk about things that are pretty speculative but he did it with a lot of power. It was pretty cool.
Spiritual thought Hoorah:
Listening to that devotional made me appreciate the fact that everyone that we see here on earth chose to be here because they wanted to follow the Savior. God sees a lot of worth in all of us that have come here and he wan't us to choose to follow him still. He wants to be our God.
Current weight: 204.2 Lbs.
Thank you for the prayers! They're working.
